 Elegant lacy leaves form a very dense and bushy clump. This dwarf plant does not demand the same space as the standard Goats beard, and is somewhat inclined to sulk in hot summer areas, so plant in a moist, peaty soil, or even at the waterside. Cut plants back in summer if they look untidy.

An excellent companion to summer-blooming shrub roses. Good for cutting, the flowers may also be dried by hanging upside down in a warm, dark room.

The "Stained Glass" Hosta has a fade-free foliage that can tolerate moderate sun, but will need extra watering. This Hosta shows dark green leaf margins, golden centres, and deep cut veins that can resemble the look of stained glass.

Fragrant, lavender blooms shoot up midseason and attract hummingbirds.

Little Miss Sunshine is a dwarf goldenrod. This bright golden yellow bloomer makes an excellent border plant in a sunny area, as its spread is wider than it's height you can expect a dense mini hedge.

Use this large blue hosta to add color to your shade garden! Attractive, heart-shaped, thick and heavily corrugated blue leaves have wavy margins. Pale lavender flowers.

Hollyhocks have been grown in gardens for centuries, their tall spikes of satiny, crepe-textured flowers making a fine display in mid-summer. They were usually relegated to the back of a sunny border, with something in front to hide their bare lower stems. However, this won′t be necessary with this new strain.

Lamium is one of the best choices for a tough and showy perennial ground cover.  This selection forms a spreading patch of small silver leaves with a narrow green edge. Clusters of purple flowers appear in spring, then continue off and on until fall.

Stems will root into the ground where they touch, and any new plants that form can be easily moved in spring or fall.

Regularly used as a ground cover, it makes a great choice for areas of your garden where other plants do not succeed. Flower stems can be removed to keep the patch kept clean, as well as to prevent self-seeding. 

 CAUTION:Difficult to eradicate once established. Do not discard unwanted plants in any natural areas, as they may establish themselves and become invasive.  Unwanted all-green shoots should be sprayed with a non-selective weed killer.

A ruffled hosta that will bring joy year after year. Heart-shaped, blue leaves have crisp, creamy white edges. Near white flowers.

A beautifully variegated large majestic hosta. Large, ovate leaves have green centers with brightly contrasting yellow margins. The margins are heavily rippled and give the leaves a lightly wavy overall effect. White flowers appear above the foliage in midsummer. A showy specimen for the shade!

Good for ground covers and underplanting for shrubs

This Flowering ground cover has a clumping habit and is commonly used in borders and rock gardens.

Plants form a mound of deep greens to black leaves, bearing showy spikes of flowers in mid to late spring. Excellent for combining with spring-flowering bulbs. 

Performs well in pots or mixed containers. Easily divided in spring or early fall.

Siberian Iris have masses of beautiful  flag-like flowers in late spring, which are most effective when planted in groupings. The flowers are excellent for cutting. Its sword-like leaves remain green in colour throughout the season.

Coral Sunset has a unique shade of coral-pink and large, semi-double blooms, Coral Sunset stuns all who gaze upon its midseason splendour. The long-lived plant thrives in well-drained, fertile soil and a sun to part-shade site. The gently aromatic flowers grow to 14 cm wide, and make lovely additions to bouquets and borders.

This improved Beard-tongue forms low mounds of glossy green leaves, bearing medium-tall stalks of tubular blue flowers arranged around the strong stems. Vigorous and easy to grow. Remove faded flowers to encourage continued blooming. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Stems are nice for cutting. Clumps may be easily divided in early spring. Unlike many of the taller selections, this one is ruggedly hardy in colder regions. Drought tolerant once established.
