The Zahara double Zinnia has all-season performance and durability in landscapes and containers, especially in sunny, hot and dry conditions. Intermediate size is perfect for mid-level plantings in flower beds, works well in containers, too.

Fibrous (or wax) begonias are compact and don't mind a bit of shade. Classic and beautiful they are available in different leaf and flower colours, giving them added diversity and helping them look good in even more settings.
TIP: The Bada Boom variety (brown leafed plants) can handle more sun than the green, though both like part shade the best.

Sturdy and small, Ageratum has small mounds of compact blue flowers and dark green foliage. Be sure they get adequate sun exposure as they're low lying they can be easily shaded by larger plants.

6Small mounded plants with green foliage and bright multicoloured flowers make Violas a van der Meer favorite for bedding plants. They do great in pots and planters due to their small size.

Calibrachoa is a hybrid of the Petunia and has smaller flowers with more compact trailing traits. Grows best when it is given room to cascade and spread such as on the edges of raised planters and hanging baskets.
For best growth results place in direct sunlight and keep soil moist, but be cautious not to overwater as it is susceptible to root rot.
