If you'd like to attract butterflies into your yard and garden this shrub is a great choice.
The Donald Wyman Lilac is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with an upright spreading habit of growth. It has a somewhat coarse texture and can be used to stand it apart from other landscape plants with finer foliage.
This shrub will require occasional maintenance and upkeep. Only prune after flowering to avoid removing any of the current season's blooms.Â
Grown in full sunlight only. It is adaptable to both dry and moist locations without particular need for specific soil type or pH. It is highly tolerant of urban pollution and will even thrive in inner city environments. This variety is an interspecific hybrid.
