Ash Leaf False Spirea features airy plumes of white flowers rising above the foliage from early to mid summer. It has dark green deciduous foliage which emerges burgundy in spring. The leaves do not develop any appreciable fall colour. This Shrub will send out suckers, so plant with this in mind. Attracts Bees.

The Alpine Currant grows at a medium rate and, under ideal conditions, can be expected to live for approximately 30 years.

This shrub performs well in both full sun and full shade, and is very adaptable to both dry and moist locations.  Hardy and drought tolerant, it makes an ideal choice for a moisture-conserving landscape and is highly resistant of urban pollution.

A striking climber bearing large, deeply cupped, bright crimson-red blooms, with a pleasing Old Rose fragrance. It is a relatively compact climber clothed in large, dark green leaves. David Austin, 1998.

The silvery green, dwarf Thuja occidentalis Mr. Bowling Ball^®(‘Bobazam’) looks like an oversized bowling ball, except for its fine, almost lacy, texture. Actually, it is a reliable, mid-size, spherical bush that has many uses in the landscape. An Iseli Introduction seedling selected from Picea abies ‘Rothenhausii’, this new dwarf cultivar has a prostrate habit that forms a low mounding shape with age. It can be grown as a slow growing ground cover or staked upright as a gentle weeper.  Delicate tiny green sprays of needles cover this very dainty specimen, which resembles cascading water that has been frozen in time. Great for containers or as a specimen plant for collectors. Truly a one of a kind.

A finely textured evergreen shrub with arching branches clothed in soft, slightly silver-gray foliage. Very effective planted en masse, as a tall ground cover or low growing hedge. Requires little maintenance. Drought tolerant when established.

Larix decidua ‘Puli’ is an elegant alternative to the common L.d. ‘Pendula’. When staked, its slender branches create a narrow silhouette that is more dense and lighter green than ‘Pendula’. If unstaked, ‘Puli’ branches spread out slowly along the ground and make an effective ground-cover. Very attractive in gardens with an Asian aesthetic.

The compact, bushy Ginkgo biloba ‘Mariken’ was discovered in 1995 as a witch’s broom growing in a Ginkgo tree in the Netherlands. It has proven an excellent find, descended with the unique history of the species, with the same fan-shaped green leaves that turn bright yellow in fall. But ‘Mariken’ stays very small, its thick, spreading branches loaded with a dense arrangement of foliage. The slow-growing, deciduous conifer makes a high-interest architectural feature, a flat, rounded, form, for either small garden or container.
