Mockorange is a delightfully old-fashioned plant that has unfortunately fallen out of favor, mostly due to its enormous size. Illuminati Tower® mockorange stands to breathe new life into this classic favorite, though, combining a landscape-friendly size with a totally unique space-saving habit. It naturally grows in a very narrow, upright way, each sturdy stem a stack of rugged, deep green leaves that looks like a four-sided tower. In late spring/early summer, hundreds of fragrant white flowers emerge from between the leaves for striking show that truly celebrates the season.Â

Developed from a native North American wildflower, this is an important source of food for Monarch Butterflies. Forms an upright clump of narrow green leaves, bearing showy clusters flowers in mid to late summer that is sure to attract butterflies.
The seed pods that follow are sometimes used in dried arrangements — pick and dry these while still green. Very late to come up in the spring, so mark the spot by planting daffodils or other companion bulbs.Â

September Ruby is a medium-sized apple, averaging about 6 cm in diameter. It features deep red skin over a pale green background, and in some cases develops a fully red blush. Inside, the flesh is yellow-green, crisp, and refreshing, with a well-balanced flavour that’s sweet with a hint of tartness.
Excellent for fresh eating, September Ruby also performs well in pies and truly shines when juiced—its natural balance of sweetness and acidity makes it a standout choice for juice lovers. The fruit ripens from early to mid-September and can be stored for approximately 4–5 months under proper conditions.

Plant your tiger lilies in a spot with good drainage, as a waterlogged area can rot the bulbs. Then, over the first few years, water your lilies regularly until their root system has matured. After that, they can better tolerate some drought and are fairly low-maintenance plants.

Give each peony plant enough space to grow to maturity without being crowded. That means a 3- to 4-foot diameter for each plant. Choose a location that is sheltered from strong winds. The large heavy blooms of this plant can cause the stems to flop over during heavy rain and inclement weather. Your peonies will benefit from some type of support staking. Plant them well away from other trees and shrubs, since they don't like to compete for nutrients and water.
Peonies like a good chill in the winter. In order to set their flower buds, peony roots should be planted relatively close to the soil surface—only about 2-to 3-inches deep.
