Assorted Snake Plant Varieties (Sansevieria species & hybrids)
Snake Plants, also known as Sansevieria or Mother-in-Law’s Tongue, are among the most resilient and versatile houseplants. With their upright, sword-like leaves in shades of green, silver, yellow, and variegated patterns, they offer striking architectural appeal and thrive with minimal care. Perfect for beginners or collectors, assorted varieties bring both beauty and durability to any indoor space.
Light Requirement:
Snake Plants adapt well to a wide range of light levels, from low-light corners to bright, indirect sunlight. For optimal growth and vibrant color, place in moderate to bright, indirect light. Avoid prolonged direct sun exposure, which can scorch foliage.
Watering Requirement:
Extremely drought-tolerant, Snake Plants require infrequent watering. Allow the soil to dry completely before watering, and ensure a well-draining mix to prevent root rot. Overwatering is the most common cause of decline.
Mature Height:
Depending on the variety, Snake Plants can range from compact 8-inch tabletop plants to tall, statuesque specimens reaching 3–4 feet or more. Their slow-growing, upright form makes them ideal for both small accents and bold floor displays.

Moonshine Sansevieria, scientifically known as Sansevieria trifasciata 'Moonshine', is a striking plant prized for its unique silvery-green foliage and low maintenance requirements.
Light Requirement: Adaptable to various light conditions, the Snake Plant thrives in indirect light but can tolerate low light. It is versatile enough to flourish in both bright and dim environments.
Watering Requirement: Allow the soil to dry out between waterings, as Snake Plants are drought-tolerant. Water sparingly, ensuring the soil is well-draining to prevent overwatering and root rot.
Mature Height: Maintaining a modest size, the Snake Plant typically reaches a height of around 6 to 12 inches (15 to 20 cm). Its upright growth habit makes it an excellent choice for small spaces and tabletop arrangements.
Coriandrum sativum. Cilantro "Santo" is bred to be slow bolting. Direct sow short rows of Santo Long Standing cilantro seeds every other week from spring to late summer for continuous harvest. The mature seeds, better known as coriander, are easy to harvest, and used in many dishes - notably curry powder blends. Keep an eye you your cilantro crop because the flowering process (bolting) is famously quick in this plant. As soon as a central stem appears and the uppermost leaves become frilly, it's time to harvest the whole plant, roots and all.
If growing for seeds, simply allow the plants to flower. Cilantro flowers are highly attractive to beneficial insects like Syrphid flies, lacewings, and lady beetles. Be warned that if the seeds are not harvested when they are mature, you will have volunteer cilantro plants for years to come.
Cilantro will grow somewhat leggy, but productively in partial shade, and it is quite tolerant of cool temperatures. With the protection of a cloche greenhouse, cilantro will continue growing all winter.

Rockfoil produces its thickest and most lush foliage in spring. The bright green, crinkly leaves pack tightly together and carpet rocks, pavers, and lightly shaded nooks. In spring, tiny, cupped flowers appear on slender stalks held above the body of the plant. The wiry stalks are tinged pink to purple and support blooms of salmon, pink, purple, white, and other hues. The rockfoil flowers last into the early part of summer. Once the flowers die back, the plant is exposed to drying air and sun without their shading protection.

Our Scarlet Nantes carrot seeds are hand-harvested in the Northwest. This carrot has been grown and selected for North American conditions for at least 50 years, and is a workhorse variety that is widely adapted and often out-performs some of the more finicky nantes hybrids. Strong tops and excellent heirloom flavour in 18cm (7") roots that colour up early for optional harvests as baby carrots. When Scarlet Nantes reach maturity, they are some of the best storage carrots, and they freeze particularly well for winter use. This is also one of the top yielding juicing carrots because its tender flesh is so easily rendered.

Seaside spinach seeds produce very uniform, dark green baby leaf spinach for fast harvests and high volume production. The leaves are thick and succulent, with well developed flavour. The upright plants grow at a moderate rate, and work well in winter high tunnels. It is the best choice we have seen for baby leaf growers, and has good resistance to downy mildew. With the correct timing, a small farming operation can produce a constant supply of baby leaf spinach nearly all year, which can be a lucrative option for your restaurant and CSA clients.
