Curled Parsley produces fine foliage. The dense, closely curled, parsley grows to a very dark green. It makes for an excellent choice for flavoring soups, salads, and stews. This biennial herb is also a great option for a garnish, and is very good for freezing.

For those hard-to-establish areas that are shaded; this blend will work very well with about 40% sunshine. All flowers do best in full sun, but the ones in this Partial Shade Blend will flourish and prosper with filtered sun.

Annual & Perennials

This annual vine, passion flower, has an exotic bloom and vigorous growth. May be grown indoors over winter.

Patio Snacker cucumber seeds produce compact little plants that grow to only 90-150cm (36-60"), but producing numerous full-sized slicing cucumbers from mid-summer on. Trellis the little plants, or try them in a hanging basket and allow the short vines to spill over the sides. Patio Snacker was bred with the small-space gardener in mind, so it's ideal for balcony growing. Be sure to keep the plants picked so that new flowers and fruits continue to come.

Oregon Giant snow pea seeds produce plants with unusually large, broad 13cm (5") long pods are thick and very sweet. They are most tender when peas begin to form but remain so up to the very largest sizes. Plants stay short at only 1.2m (4'). This variety is very resistant to pea enation virus and powdery mildew, which makes it a good candidate for late sowing and summer/fall harvest. Sow as late as July, and enjoy a second fall crop. Enation virus is a serious problem for peas in our region, so if you're planting peas after April first, choose enation-resistant varieties only. Winner of the RHS Award of Garden Merit.

A compact dwarf bush variety with tender pods, enjoy harvesting and eating them before they grow large peas. Plus, they're stringless and heat-tolerant, making them perfect for July harvests.

Pyrus Ussurian Jefgold 'Early Gold' 

A hardy pear tree with white flowers in spring, good fall colour and oval shape; small high quality greenish fruit is good for fresh eating. Self-pollinating but increased production with a pollinator and resistant to fireblight.

Pearl and Jade Pothos, scientifically known as Epipremnum aureum 'Pearls and Jade', is a popular and versatile trailing plant appreciated for its attractive variegated foliage and ease of care.

Light Requirement: Pearl and Jade Pothos thrives in moderate to bright, indirect light but can also tolerate low light conditions. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight for prolonged periods, as this may scorch its leaves.

Watering Requirement: Allow the top inch (2.5 cm) of the soil to dry out between waterings, then water thoroughly. Ensure proper drainage to prevent waterlogging, as excessive moisture can lead to root rot.

Mature Length: Pearl and Jade Pothos can grow to impressive lengths, with vines reaching several feet in length when allowed to trail or climb. Regular pruning can help control its size and encourage bushier growth.

Lotus Moon^™ Pearlbush is a profuse spring bloomer that is covered in white round flower buds resembling a string of pearls. The buds open to clear white blooms that completely cover the plant in April and May, attracting early butterflies. Flowers are borne on previous year’s growth so prune right after flowering. Pearl is the perfect name for this classy, refined, pure white radish. Pearl holds its round shape better than other white varieties, even in less-than-optimal conditions. Mild flavour with a hint of heat. Strong tops for easy harvest and bunching.

Cascadia snap pea seeds produce vines that do not need a trellis but tumble about (try putting some twigs in to support them), growing to approximately 60cm (24") overall. The dark green pods are a nice 9cm (3.5") long and are crunchy, juicy, and sweet.

This improved Beard-tongue, part of the Pristine series, forms low mounds of glossy green leaves, bearing medium-tall stalks of tubular Deep Pink flowers arranged around the strong stems. Vigorous and easy to grow. Remove faded flowers to encourage continued blooming. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Stems are nice for cutting. Clumps may be easily divided in early spring. Unlike many of the taller selections, this one is ruggedly hardy in colder regions. Drought tolerant once established.

The Flame Peony lives up to its name as a profuse bloomer with fiery crimson-red flowers, accented by hints of deep coral.
