The 'Stratosphere" Gaura PW annuals have delicate flowers that will bloom May to September. The flowers grow upright along shoots, with foliage that shows a rich green colour and hints of purple tones. A very low maintenance plant,  these ethereal flowers make a wonderful display on their own, or in mixed planters and baskets.

Prairie smoke (Geum triflorum) adds interest to a garden bed from early spring through to fall. This perennial is native to North American prairies. It gets its name from the long, wispy, feather-like achenes (seed heads) that develop during the summer. With their pinkish shades, they create an impression of puffs of smoke remaining on the plant for several weeks. The small, pink, bud-like flowers may not be as impressive as the achenes, but they still add a splash of color to the garden in the spring. And during the fall, the foliage takes on purplish, reddish, and orange hues and then turns to a burgundy shade during winter. 

Provides an airy and graceful appearance with 0.25 to 0.33-in. (0.5 to 0.8-cm) flowers and finely textured foliage. Beautiful in hanging baskets; ideal for a garden border and in mixed containers. Stays in constant bloom for a long period of enjoyment.

Habanero pepper seeds are central to the cuisine of Yucatan, Mexico. The little lime-green peppers ripen first to sunset golden, and then to "You've been warned" red. Mature 5cm (2") habaneros have a citrusy flavour and aroma. The seed is slower to germinate (up to 3 weeks) and should be kept at 21-24°C (70-75°F). Use bottom heat of a Seedling Warmer heat mat to accelerate germination. Plants need fertile soil and lots of heat to mature but are well worth the time - and the tears. For most regions in Canada, providing protection to increase heat and lengthen the growing season is necessary for success. At 100,000 - 350,000 SHU's, these powerful chiles are for spice lovers, and not for the faint of heart. Can be grown in containers.
