Developed in 1906, this pink peony is still a favorite. Double flowers of soft seashell pink with petals edged a trifle lighter with a few crimson flecks.

Caring for Peonies:

May/June: Keep your peony watered if there is little rainfall. Use compost or aged manure to your soil. If your peony is newly planted it can take up to two seasons for it to get its first bloom. Be patient, it's worth it.
Late June: Blooming season, like many garden plants you will need to deadhead peony flowers often. 
Summer: Herbaceous Peonies do best with an inch of water per week if they are newly planted. If they are established they can handle a drought season more than newly planted roots. Enjoy green peony bush once blooms are gone.
Fall: Cut stems of Herbaceous Peonies back to soil level and remove from the area.  If you have new plantings mulch.

Peperomia 'Hope', also known as Peperomia tetraphylla 'Hope', is a delightful variety of the Peperomia genus, beloved for its compact growth habit and attractive foliage.

Light Requirement: Peperomia 'Hope' thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light conditions but may exhibit slower growth.

Watering Requirement: Keep the soil lightly moist, allowing the top inch to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it's essential to avoid waterlogged conditions. 

Mature Size: Peperomia 'Hope' typically grows to a height of 6 to 12 inches (15 to 30 centimeters), forming a bushy mound of trailing stems adorned with small, rounded leaves. Regular pruning helps maintain its compact shape and encourages new growth.

String of Turtles (Peperomia prostrata)

Watering Requirement:
Water moderately, allowing the top layer of soil to dry between waterings. Peperomia prostrata prefers slightly moist but well-draining soil. Be careful not to overwater, as its fine roots are prone to rot.

Mature Height:
Typically remains compact, with trailing vines that can reach 12–18 inches long over time. Its petite size and slow growth make it a perfect choice for small spaces and decorative displays.

Material: 

Mentha x piperata. Hot, rich mint aroma issues from the crushed or dried leaves of this spreading perennial plant. Consider growing Peppermint seeds in containers, as it will become hard to control over the years. Both the leaves and flowers can be dried for teas or use in stews and sauces. Peppermint grows well in moist soil in full sun to heavy shade. Mint flowers are edible, and highly attractive to bees and other pollinators. Mint plants spread by an ever-expanding rhizome that grows parallel with the soil. Along its length, new stems emerge with new leaves and flowers.
