4” House Plants
Plants are more than twice size as photo!
The Monstera Deliciosa, often referred to as the Split Leaf Philodendron, is an iconic and visually stunning indoor plant featuring large, glossy, split leaves that give it a distinctive and tropical appearance.
Light Requirement: Thriving in bright, indirect light, place the Monstera Deliciosa in a location with filtered sunlight or partial shade. It can tolerate lower light conditions but benefits from exposure to moderate to bright light for optimal leaf development.
Watering Requirement: Allow the top inch of the soil to dry out between waterings, and water thoroughly. The Monstera Deliciosa prefers slightly moist but well-draining soil. Be cautious not to overwater to prevent root rot.
Mature Height: With a climbing or trailing growth habit, the Monstera Deliciosa can reach varying heights, often growing up to 6 to 10 feet (180 to 300 cm) indoors. Regular pruning and providing adequate support can help manage its size and shape.
Beautifully variegated leaves form sharp (and dangerous) spikes. Can be trimmed off with clippers, but not ideal for homes with pets or children!
Grow as a house plant and take it outside during the summer to create an Arizona landscape.
Succulents are low maintenance. Growing best in bright, dry environments and appreciating periods of neglect, making this an ideal house plant!
Requires substantial amounts of light, at least 5 hours of bright, direct light every day. Placing your succulent outdoors during the summer months will help it to thrive.
Pro tip: Moving your plant outside in the spring, after growing indoors over the winter, can be a harsh transition and intense afternoon sunlight can cause sunburn. Place your plant where it can receive small amounts of shade when the sun is strongest.
