Large fruit, striped red over light yellow. Excellent for cooking. Matures in mid-September. Tree is very cold hardy. Introduced by Boughen Nursery, Valley River, Manitoba in 1934.

Manitoba Maple AKA the Box Elder is a low maintenance  reasonably drought tolerant shade tree. It is fast growing and turns gold in fall. This tree is a great climbing tree as it has low wide spreading branches.

Dropmore Linden is a showy fragrant tree with cream-coloured blooms in early summer followed by small woody fruit in late summer. The tree itself is dense and a pyramidal shape.
