Alpenglow® is a red-leafed, upright hybrid maple that is hardy down to –30F. In spring, merlot leaves dance on arching branches; translucent veins help them catch the light and glow. The deep red mellows to a burnished bronze in summer and finally turns to blazing orange and red in fall. Acer x pseudosieboldianum Arctic Jade^® is a member of our Jack Frost^® collection of hybrid maples and is an excellent substitute for less hardy Japanese maples in harsh climate conditions. It has large green, deeply cut leaves reminiscent of A. japonicum ‘Aconitifolium’ with an excellent branching habit. In autumn, the foliage is an impressive canvas for the dazzling fusion of orange and red tones.

Acer x pseudosieboldianum Ice Dragon^® is a welcome addition to the Jack Frost^® collection of hardy garden maples from Iseli Nursery. This all-season tree has a cascading habit and was bred and selected to tolerate Zone 4 winters while still retaining the refined qualities of the less hardy Japanese maples. Spring begins as leaves unfurl blushed orange-red, quickly maturing to green. In summer, the finely divided, delicate appearing green leaves are durable and tolerant of sun and heat. Autumn brings foliage of a kaleidoscope of yellow, orange and red. After leaf drop, the sinuous and undulating branching structure is a visual treat during the long cold winter months.

Achillea Yarrow blooms for weeks starting from early to late summer and is known for attracting butterflies.

A deer, drought and rabbit resistant perennial that features clusters of petit flowers with a long stem. 

Deadheading will encourage new blooms and will prevent from spreading it's seeds, yarrow seeds can fall from previous blooms and will spread if not monitored.

Pure white blooms. One of the most productive filler flowers we have ever grown, 'The Pearl' produces armloads of the most adorable clusters of white blooms with a cream centre. Yarrow is easy to grow and a favorite among pollinators. A first year flowering perennial. Can be used fresh or dried.

This Flowering groundcover has a clumping habit and is commonly used in borders and rock gardens.

Plants form a mound of deep greens to black leaves, bearing showy spikes of flowers in mid to late spring. Excellent for combining with spring-flowering bulbs.

Textured and bright foliage, the plants form a mound of rounded, velvety soft olive-green leaves, which catch and hold water drops and sparkle in the sun. Makes for good edging shrub and sprays of chartreuse flowers are a nice filler for cut arrangements. An easy-care perennial.

Delicate white flowers appear in late spring and early summer, over a low mound of fern-like foliage. Plants will forms a dense patch, suitable for a ground cover. Both the flowers as well as the fluffy seed-heads are great for cutting.

Malus " Norland"

Odyssey boasts a sweet flavour comparable to the 'Gala' apple. The fruit ripens in mid-september and stores well. Introduced by Jeffries Nurseries. All apples, crabapples and applecrabs are closely related and can be used to cross pollinate each other.

McKana's Giant aquilegia is particularly good for cut flowers as it features a fully double, upward-facing bloom, rising above a ferny foliage of gray-green divided leaves. Plants typically produce 3-5 stems in the first year and 5-10 stems in the second and following years.

Remove faded flowering stems to promote additional blooming.

This is a hybrid strain of Columbine that flowers freely. Plants have a compact habit, with the large blooms usually bi coloured in shades of blue, white, pink, red, rose or yellow. Flowers are attractive to hummingbirds.

Removing spent flowers will increase the blooming time. Columbines are relatively short lived, so allow some of the plants to go to seed and self sow. Leaf miners or sawfly may disfigure the leaves around flowering time, but simply trim off the unwanted foliage and the plants will grow fresh leaves.

The 'Blue Carpet' is a very popular rock garden plants as they form a low cushion of green leaves, that get smothered by flowers for several weeks. This variety blooms with various shades of rich blue and violet, over grey-green leaves.

To encourage a thick mounding habit, plants should be trimmed lightly immediately after blooming. Excellent choice for a rock garden in sun or part shade, growing over rock walls, or in alpine troughs and other containers.
