Hot pink to magenta stems and veins with dark jade coloured foliage, Magenta Sunset is a beauty among the chards. Magenta Sunset Swiss chard seeds are grown primarily for immature salad greens as it tends to bolt during summer heat. The leaves are smooth, and the stalks are narrow, even at full size. Kept in check, it will produce abundant nutritious leaves with a mild earthy flavour. Sow again in August for a fall harvest or for decorative, 60cm (24") tall plants. Swiss chard is absolutely packed with vitamins, minerals, and dietary fibre.

A. tuberosum. This flat-leaf variety of Garlic Chives seeds has a strong garlic flavour and aroma. Cupids Dart (catananche) is a favorite of flower arrangers, the papery, bright blue dandelion-shaped blossoms are excellent for cutting, fresh or dried. An easy to grow perennial flower. These blue daisies look great in a flowerbed, and offer striking contrast to other flowers in the bed.
Once established, Cupid's Dart plants will grow for years with little attention. They are drought tolerant,  good in dried flower arrangements, and don't mind a little crowding.Â

Tropaeolum minus. The flat-faced flowers of Black Velvet Nasturtium face upwards, and are held above the pale green foliage. The flowers themselves are such a rich, dark shade of mahogany, they appear almost black from any distance. This compact Nasturtium is perfect for container growing, and it blooms continuously throughout the summer. The edible flowers look sensational as garnishes, and bring a peppery kick to salad mixes.

This anemone grows 24 to 32 inches tall with single, light violet-pink flowers. It’s an extremely robust and vigorous plant that is best suited to naturalizing. This is a Creeping, Mounded, Thicket-forming perennial, meaning it can overwhelm other plants and may become a nuisance in a bed.

Garden Astilbe are a popular choice for shady gardens, where they perform well if given a rich, moist soil and regular watering. Superbena Royale verbenas are vigorous and mounded, but will trail over the sides of containers. They will function as both spillers and fillers in combination planters and are best planted at the front of landscape beds. Flower and umbel size are typical for verbena. They will bloom earlier in the season and more easily produceable in smaller containers than regular Superbena varieties.
