Lavandula stoechas. Sow French lavender seeds indoors, 6-8 weeks before last frost, or direct sow the seeds in early spring when a chance of frost is still possible. Uniform and distinctive, 'Sancho Panza' blooms from June to September on shrubby bushes that grow 35cm (14") tall. This variety of French lavender has a fantastic fragrance and dries particularly well. Great in containers, but in mass plantings the scent and colour are amazing. French lavender is also a very hardy perennial and drought tolerant, so good for use in xeriscaping. Cut back the whole plant by a third after flowering is finished to produce new growth.

This impressive Salvia was a show stopper in our field trials, with tall spikes of true blue flowers that attracted bumble bees and other bees from mid-summer to the first frost. It blooms right into early October 

A truly unique sunflower of semi-double golden yellow petals surrounding a pollenless green center. Starburst Greenburst's 10-15cm (4-6”) flowers bloom early on 120-159cm (4-6’) branching plants. They are eye-catching as the focal point of a bouquet or bunched on their own. High resistance to Downy mildew.

SUMMER HARVEST. Caraflex Organic Cabbage seeds are CERTIFIED ORGANIC! Small, very pointed, highly uniform heads that can be planted more densely. Caraflex has tight wrapper leaves that protect the tender, crunchy, sweet interior from weather and pests. Very nice flavour for a summer harvest cabbage. A shape that is becoming ever more popular in Europe and North America. Fresh, sweet, and tender cabbage leaves. These Pointed cabbages tend to be milder and sweeter, and have more tender leaves than round heads. Easier to braise, these cabbages make an excellent alternative to lettuce. Caraflex is an improvement on traditional pointed cabbage types. Has excellent holding capability and firmness. Produces 1.5-2 lb heads , storing up to 8 weeks. Presents well as a baby cabbage. Winner of the RHS Award of Garden Merit.

Kolibri kohlrabi seeds produce surprisingly uniform bulbous stems with bright purple, extremely smooth skins over succulent and crisp white flesh. This variety can become quite large without losing any of its appealing texture. The purple colour of Kolibri is so appealing that they really stand out in the garden. Kohlrabi has the attractive texture of a crisp apple with a mild Brassica flavour that hints of cabbage. Its crispness lends it well for use in salads with thick dressings. Shredded, it makes a delicious coleslaw. And like its Brassica cousins, kohlrabi is an excellent source of phosphorus and potassium as well as dietary fibre, and (somewhat surprisingly) vitamin C. Winner of the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
