The leaves emerge frosty blue with a bright yellow margin that lightens to creamy white during the summer.  It forms a medium sized mound topped with light lavender flowers in mid to late summer.

Empress Wu features huge dark green leaves with deep veins, measuring over 1½' wide and long. It forms a tall and wide clump with a strongly upright habit. Pale reddish-violet flowers bloom just above the foliage in early to midsummer. An exceptional focal point for your shade garden, it takes about 5 years to reach its mature size.

Extremely ruffled, cream coloured margins extend from the tip of each green leaf all the way down the petiole to the crown.  This ruffled margin is evident even in the juvenile stage of the plant before vernalization.  The leaves of this medium sized hosta are of excellent substance, making them slug resistant in the landscape. 

Rudbeckia laciniata 'Herbstsonne' is a substantial plant ideally suited for the rear of a perennial bed. It blooms in late summer, offering an extended display of vibrant yellow hues. Distinguishing itself from ordinary yellow daisies, it boasts large, distinctive petals that flare gracefully backward.

Siberian Iris have masses of beautiful  flag-like flowers in late spring, which are most effective when planted in groupings. The flowers are excellent for cutting. Its sword-like leaves remain green in colour throughout the season.

A Proven Winner Rose Mallow, Berry Awesome is a very robust perennial that fills a lot of space in the garden. Find a place in your landscape where it will not be crowded by other plants, because it will quickly out compete your other perennials for space within a year or two. 

Do not prune it to keep it smaller, as this will remove the flower buds. Tender Zone 4 perennial so it will need heavy mulch before frost!

A Proven Winner Rose Mallow, Cherry Chocolatte is a very robust perennial that fills a lot of space in the garden. Even varieties that are considered “dwarf” grow at least three feet tall and wide, with standard-sized rose mallow growing 4-6 feet tall and wide. Find a place in your landscape where it will not be crowded by other plants, because it will quickly out compete your other perennials for space within a year or two. Summer Phlox is very popular for its midsummer display in the sunny border. This selection produces large, fragrant flower clusters. Attractive to butterflies. Excellent cut flower. Flowering is always best in a sunny location. Easy to grow and mildew resistant although Summer Phlox always benefit from a location that provides good air circulation and consistent soil moisture. Drought tolerant. Excellent for containers or in the border. Remove faded flowers to encourage more buds to form.
