Shooting Star Dodecatheon

Shooting Star features a low rosette of rounded leaves. In spring, long stems emerge with unique blooms resembling shooting stars. They thrive in moist, well-drained soil and partial shade, avoiding poorly drained sites. By mid-summer, foliage disappears as the plant goes dormant, making it ideal for woodland, slope, or rock gardens.
